Plane Carrying Queen Elizabeth II's Coffin Arrives in London

Plane carrying Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin arrived in London on Tuesday. Queen Elizabeth II’s coffin on Tuesday left St Giles’ Cathedral in Edinburgh for a flight to London where it will be displayed before the public ahead of her funeral next week.

The monarch’s only daughter, Princess Anne, is accompanying the casket which will be flown from Edinburgh to an air base west of London before the coffin procession makes its way to Buckingham Palace.

As preparations build for next week’s state funeral, King Charles III is in Belfast on Tuesday and the monarch’s coffin returns from Scotland to Buckingham Palace.
